About Ann Hoover

Ann Hundley Hoover is a foremost authority in the etiquette and protocol industry. She
founded The Hoover Protocol & Etiquette Centre, a consulting firm whose clients include
Grant Thornton, McAfee Taft, Teleflora University of Oklahoma and International Association
of Administrative Professionals.
Nationally recognized for her etiquette expertise, Ann was appointed to The John F.
Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Presidential Advisory Committee and currently
chairs special events where she oversees events held across the country to support the
Kennedy Center.
A member of the International Association of Protocol Consultants, Ann also holds a
Corporate Etiquette and International Protocol Consultant Degree from The Protocol School
of Washington®, the nation’s leader in training international business executives, top
diplomats and military leaders.
Ann began her business career at a brokerage firm in San Francisco. Attracted by the
excitement of the fashion world, she became active in the fashion industry working
both as a fashion model and then a representative for various designer collections from
California to New York and abroad.
In addition, Ann has lectured around the country on “The Joy of Entertaining” and is the
founder and former owner of DOGalogue, a catalogue dedicated to canine fashions.
A renowned philanthropist for the past 25 years, Ann has dedicated her time to raising
funds for medical research, education and the arts. She is on the Board of Trustees for
Oklahoma City University, Chairman of the Executive Advisory Board for the Wanda L. Bass
School of Music at Oklahoma City University and serves on the boards of The Kirkpatrick
Foundation and The Canterbury Choral Society.
